The karyotype of Apodemus chevrieri(Figure 1A) consisted of four small meta- or submetacentric pairs (nos. 1–4) and 19 large-to-small acrocentric pairs (nos. 5–23) in autosomes, large acrocentric X chromosome, and small acrocentric Y chromosome. Open in a separate window Figure 1 The Chevrier's field mouse (Apodemus chevrieri) is an endemic species to China and is an important pest in agriculture and human diseases. In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of this species was sequenced and its size was 16,298 bases (accession no.: HQ896683). Moreover, we recognize nine living species of Apodemus in China: Apodemus uralensis, A. agrarius, A. chevrieri, A. latronum, A. peninsulae, A. draco, A. ilex, A. semotus and A. nigrus sp.

Apodemus chevrieri is the inherent species in Hengduan mountains region (Zheng, 1993). Here we measure seasonal changes in thermogenesis including body mass, BMR, NST from E. miletus and A. chevrieri.

Here we measure seasonal changes in thermogenesis including body mass, BMR, NST from E. miletus and A. chevrieri. We hypothesize that, similar to other small mammals, E. miletus and A. chevrieri will change their thermogenesis seasonally. We predict Apodemus chevrieri: Taxonomy navigation › Apodemus. Apodemus chevrieri. It showed that A. chevrieri increased resting metabolic rate (RMR), nonshivering thermogenesis (NST) and energy intake and decreased body mass and body temperature when exposed to the cold while showed a significant increase in body mass and body temperature after rewarming.
